Green Party suspension
Green party member Emma Bateman was suspended for querying if trans women were female. Meanwhile a current member of the party includes a ‘pathway advisor’ for online clinic, GenderGP, who supply puberty blockers to minors.
On March 8th, International Women's Day, I was suspended from the Green Party following a complaint by 2 fellow GPW committee members
Because I queried whether trans women are female.
Green Party policy is that 'trans women are women'
Now we must agree that they are also female
Amendment87B
A Domestic Abuse Bill only includes a single use of the word female and an amendment to the bill conflates sex and gender which will have an impact on victims of domestic abuse.
There is one single mention of "female" in the whole of the Domestic Abuse Bill at clause 73
#DARVOamendment87B seeks to make sure that "female" includes transwomen
This will impact on women's refuges and women's services
