ONS Consultation
There was good news yesterday when Fairplayforwomen won their high court challenge against the office for national statistics. There is also currently an on-going consultation that aims to improve the inclusivity of data and evidence in the UK.
We did it. We won. ONS have conceded defeat and will pay our legal costs.
The High Court has now sealed the court order that sex in census cannot be self-identified.

Reclaim these streets
A reclaim the streets fundraiser set up after the tragic murder of Sarah Everard is facing criticism. There is a lack of transparency on where the money is going and whether it will benefit women’s charities. Another group which became prominent on the day of the vigil, Sisters Uncut is known to be involved in intimidating women and supporting male violence.
There is no transparency about where this now vast sum of money is going. It is not a registered charity. It will distributed solely at the whim of a few. Donate in Sarah’s name to @womensaid, @SBSisters, @projectnia @RefugeCharity, @centreWJ or your local women’s refuge.
