Natalie Bird legal fund
A legal fund has started for a Liberal Democrat member who was targeted for saying she did not believe that men who identified as women should use women’s refuges.
Natalie has left an abusive relationship herself and believes in the importance of sex based rights and protecting vulnerable women. For this she has had complaints raised against her and lost out on opportunities.
The fund will aid Natalie in seeking legal advice and explore whether there have been breaches of the internal procedures of the Liberal Democrats and of the Equality Act 2010 against her and potentially other women in the party.
