Support For Women Scotland

There was some disappointing news yesterday when For Women Scotland lost their judicial review. As a group they campaign to protect and strengthen women and children’s rights in Scotland. In this review they were challenging Scottish Ministers over the definition of “woman" in the Gender Representation on Public Boards (Scotland) Act 2018. The act is designed to redress the historic imbalance of women on public boards and yet defines women as anyone who identifies as such.
