A reminder that Woman’s Place UK has put together a great overview of the current situation in women’s prisons, including a template you can email to your MP, if you have not already done so.
Dr Kate Coleman has also written an insightful piece for Lesbian and Gay News, in which she shares the horrendous experiences of a former female prisoner.
Dinosaurs on Tour
Over a hundred women (and a few men!) attended the protest last Friday, which started at the Lancet offices and ended outside the Labour Party HQ. It was fantastic to meet so many dedicated individuals and share information about the current war on women with the public. Hopefully there will be even more of us at the next one!
