There’s only a day left to make a submission to New Zealand’s self ID consultation. You can contribute from anywhere in the world and it only needs to be a sentence or two. Let them know how you feel about Self ID. Be specific if you can.

“This law will mean anyone, at any stage in their life, for any reason, will be able to change the sex recorded on their Birth Certificate by completing a simple statutory declaration form. There will no longer be a medical or family court gatekeeping process. A NZ birth certificate will cease to be reliable evidence of sex. This will effect access to single-sex spaces and services such as schools, prisons, scholarships, sports etc.”
