Non-Crime Hate Incidents are being recorded by the police, often without them being fully investigated and without the “perpetrator” being told. You can see some examples of what has been recorded and how the individuals affected found out, on the Fair Cop website under Case Studies. In total, around 120,000 Non-Crime Hate Incidents have been recorded.

This petition seeks to require police forces to inform individuals when Non-Crime Hate Incidents are recorded against them, and give them an opportunity to appeal.
