The Irish public support single sex spaces and sport
An independent survey questioned a sample of 1,001 adults on a range of gender related issues. Overwhelmingly, the respondents support a “gender critical” stance. For example, fewer than one in five people believe people should be allowed to change their birth certificates as soon as they self ID as the opposite sex, and 62% want single sex facilities. The survey demonstrates that Irish law around sex and gender is not reflective of public opinion.
Speak Up for Women
Speak Up for Women, a campaign organisation in New Zealand, raised money for a billboard with the dictionary definition of the word woman to be displayed, coinciding with their nationwide tour. A day later, it was removed, following a campaign against the advertising agency.
